Abound Solar Produces 85W, 12.5% efficiency NREL-Verified Module

 Abound Solar has announced its new high-efficiency “AB2” 85 watt module, which represents a 12.5% percent solar efficiency as verified by the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Lab(NREL). Several hundred AB2 modules were produced in early January 2012 on commercial production equipment. Abound will be ceasing production of its current generation product in order to accelerate manufacturing process and equipment changes needed to launch its new high-efficiency module, expected in 6-9 months.
