Craig Witsoe, President and CEO
Mr. Witsoe joined Abound Solar in November 2011 as President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Abound, he served as President and CEO of Lineage Power, now GE Power Electronics. Under Mr. Witsoe’s leadership, Lineage Power made significant gains in growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction and was sold to GE Energy. Prior to Lineage Power, Mr. Witsoe was the CEO with The Tyden Group, a manufacturer of product identity and security technology. Before that, he spent nearly 15 years with GE, holding leadership roles including CEO Asia-Pacific for GE Lighting and President of GE Specialty Film and Sheet for GE Plastics. He received a B.S. degree from the University of Illinois, a M.S. degree from Northwestern University’s McCormick School of Engineering and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Stephen Abely, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Abely joined Abound Solar in August 2008 as CFO. Mr. Abely has more than 20 years of experience in senior financial positions in public and private technology companies. Mr. Abely’s experience includes the CFO role at Bookham, Inc., three private companies and President of StorMedia. Mr. Abely holds a BA in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
Bob Grier, Senior Vice President of Operations
Mr. Grier joined Abound Solar in April 2010 as Senior Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining Abound Mr. Grier led the Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Service operations for SunEdison, a leading global solar solutions company. Mr. Grier has also held senior leadership positions with Centex Homes, including President of CTX Builders Supply and SVP of Construction. Prior to joining Centex, Mr. Grier had a 25 year career with GE in various Engineering and Manufacturing roles in GE Nuclear and GE Silicones where he held the position of GM of Americas operations. Mr. Grier has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado - Boulder and a Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB) from GE.
Dr. Anders Olsson, Senior Vice President of Research and Development
Dr. Olsson joined Abound Solar in April 2008 to lead the R&D activity. Dr. Olsson has more than 30 years of R&D and engineering experience. Dr. Olsson’s experience includes senior management roles at Finisar, AT&T Bell Labs and Lucent Technologies. Dr. Olsson holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an MS in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Patrick Summers, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Mr. Summers joined Abound Solar in 2008 and serves as the company’s chief legal officer, overseeing all legal and corporate governance functions. Mr. Summers has more than 12 years experience as general counsel with private and public companies. Mr. Summers’ experience includes legal and governance roles with Webroot Software and 360Networks, as well as private practice experience. Mr. Summers holds a BS from the University of San Francisco, and a JD from the University of Oklahoma.
Dennis Csehi, Vice President of Engineering and Supply Chain
Mr. Csehi joined Abound Solar in 2009 to lead engineering and supply chain functions. Mr. Ceshi's career spans all phases of glass production and includes decades with Pilkington North America. Immediately piror to joining Abound Solar he was President of Spec-Temp Glass, an Atwood Mobile Products company. Mr. Ceshi holds a BS from University of Toledo.
Dennis Stoltenberg, Vice President of Human Resources
Mr. Stoltenberg joined Abound Solar in 2009 to lead the human resources function. Mr. Stoltenberg has more than 20 years of HR and organizational development experience. Mr. Stoltenberg’s experience includes senior management positions at Webroot Software, Quark, Maui Land & Pineapple, and GE Access. Mr. Stoltenberg holds a BS from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater.
